Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that’s dedicated to the nuclear industry. As our Strategy and Planning Analyst you’ll support all aspects of our strategic planning approach, including the development of our 3-Year Strategy and Annual Business Plan. You’ll also work to co-ordinate the reporting of corporate performance against the agreed plans.

We’re looking for someone who is a team player, able to work across the teams within the CNC and consider the needs of our stakeholders. You’ll be a great communicator, able to persuade and influence key stakeholders within a complex management environment, and be effective at partnership working and delivering results in a matrix environment.

You’ll produce strategic analysis reports, in compliance with departmental and Force standards, working collaboratively with the wider Governance Team and others to create maximum impact. You’ll support the Strategy & Planning Manager in the implementation of the Strategic Business Planning Process across the CNC, including supporting managers with Functional Plan development, horizon scanning, PESTELO analysis and strategic needs assessments. To do this you’ll build effective working relationships with managers across the workforce and seek detailed insights into organisational business activity.

You’ll support the delivery of corporate reporting on planning, performance, and risk at the highest level of the organisation.  

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have experience in analysis of complex data, strategic and operational planning, links with financial management and budgeting, and reporting performance measures.
