Force Sports & Leisure Admin Assistant
Use your administration skills to help support the Force Sports and Leisure Committee.
You will contribute to the Force Sports and Leisure (FSL) by working collaboratively and effectively with colleagues and partners helping to promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team are looking to recruit a FSL Admin Assistant on a part time (18.5 hours), fixed term basis for one year based at Force Headquarters, Leicester.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the FSL and the benefits of a membership to new recruits and current employees.
- Undertake administrative duties such as maintaining the FSL General Enquiries inbox, checking and process sporting request payments and circulating Force sporting achievements.
- Attend meetings, courses and conferences relevant to the role, including open days and networking events to actively promote the FSL.
The must haves
- Be educated to ECDL Intermediate Level and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products or have work experience at that level.
- Experience of working in a sport/leisure/administrative environment.
- The ability to carry out low level manual handling tasks including the manoeuvring, setting up, and dismantling of display boards. *
As this role may require you to work temporarily at other locations within the force area you will need to be flexible in terms of working location. Therefore, holding a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle you're willing to use for business use is essential. *
