Investigation Support (Abingdon)
Working as an integral part of a team of detectives, the successful applicant will support the investigation of serious and complex criminal offences and other incidents as required.
Your duties will include following up lines of enquiry and completing investigative actions, taking statements from victims and witnesses and securing evidence.
It is essential that you have effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide audience, along with proven analytical and decision making skills. You will also be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
The role requires the capability to travel in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner. For this reason, a full driving licence is essential for this role.
Experience within Policing would be of benefit but not essential. All required training will be provided.
