Executive Support Officer

Come and join us as the main line of support for our Executive Team within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC)

This is an exciting new role, and you will be managing the support function for the governance team and OPCC by managing the work and making assessments and decisions that enable the services to run effectively. This is a full-time permanent role based at Force Headquarters at Leicestershire Police.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will take ownership and have responsibility for the Governance’s teams executive support function.
  • Managing the administration for all OPCC led boards and provide advice and guidance to Senior Management Team on deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Build relationships and form alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders.

The must haves

  • You will be educated to Degree Level or equivalent or be able to demonstrate ability to this level by work experience.
  • Experience of working successfully with stakeholders or partners.
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels.
