Salary up to £39,929 plus a £2,000 South East allowance per annum plus a generous benefits package 
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Based at Culham, Oxfordshire

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service, dedicated to the nuclear industry.  Our vision is to be recognised as a world-class service provider of protection to nuclear material and facilities. Given the critical nature of our work, it’s vital we have a skilled and committed team.  As a Policing Skills Facilitator within Corporate Training, & Development, you will be a civilian member of Police staff and play your part by delivering policing skills training to our Officers during their initial course, and corporate training to our Police Staff.

The Policing Skills team provides our people with the skills, attitude, and education to perform at their best. 

Your role will be within Corporate Learning and Development, where you will provide the delivery of induction and training throughout a variety of subjects including Policing Skills to new and existing Officers, EDI, and corporate training, continually evaluating, and measuring learning performance, and facilitating group learning whilst assessing.

To be successful in this role you must be a committed team-worker, motivated and positive with an open and approachable style. You’ll have previous experience of designing and delivering training across multiple subjects of learning alongside Police training experience or Police industry (or similar) knowledge, holding or willing to obtain a Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development and Level 3 Assessor Award (or equivalent). You’ll display an understanding of learning needs analysis and the implementation of adult learning practices and theories. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team comprising of warranted police officers as well as civilian Police staff so good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to use your initiative to solve problems and provide timely interventions within set parameters.
