Job Title: Mentoring and Coaching Operational Lead
Salary: The starting salary is £47,060, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £44,132 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £52,652. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

In line with A New Met for London to develop a strong cohort of leaders, the Commissioner has made a commitment to help set our leaders up to succeed by working towards a five day leadership development programme for all leaders every year.
This will be delivered through the New Leadership Academy providing a contemporary learning offer to our leaders. To support this work the mentoring and coaching schemes will build our leadership capabilities in the Met in order to deliver more trust, less crime and high standards.
Working in the Met’s Leadership Academy team within Learning and Development, the role holder will be responsible developing the mentoring and coaching side of the Met’s leadership development programme. This includes taking a lead role in planning and delivery of our mentoring and coaching programmes, liaising with outside specialists and contractors and SLT.
The plan is to deliver this training from central London locations to Senior officers across the MPS.
Eligibility
Substantive Band C who meets attendance management criteria. All applications are subject to successful vetting
Location and working hours:
Central London Locations and potentially some other London locations dependant on the venues used to run Coaching and Mentoring events.
L&D supports flexible working and this is reviewed on a case by case basis.
Posting Information:
