Team Manager- Commissioning
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Team Manager - Commissioning, to join our Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner Strategy, Partnerships & Commissioning Team in Leicestershire.
We are looking for an team member who is enthusiastic about working alongside the diverse communities of our city and two counties from the most rural areas of Rutland and Leicestershire to the market towns and inner city.
In this new role which is permanent and full-time, you will be working alongside the Team Manager – Partnerships and the Director of Strategy, Partnerships & Commissioning to meet the priorities set out in the Police & Crime Plan. Managing a small, experienced team, making a difference to victims and witnesses of crime across the county and working with different organisations and sectors.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating, managing and facilitating the delivery of community-based projects, working effectively with a number of different partners, stakeholders / agencies and community organisations.
- Taking the day-to-day lead on all issues relating to commissioning, grant and community delivery arrangements, including attending relevant meetings.
- Managing and leading the commissioning and/or partnership functions of the OPCC including line management of respective teams.
The must haves
- You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have specific relevant experience and a commitment to continuous professional development with experience of working in change-making organisations.
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to engage with partners, stakeholders and professionals in an approachable, engaging and professional manner, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience of successfully managing projects with multiple workstreams. With the proven ability to negotiate and problem solve to achieve outcomes.
