Job Title: RaSP Duties Administrator
Salary: The starting salary is £34,808, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £31,880 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £34,108 Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

What we do
Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) provides personal close & mobile protection to members of the Royal Family and Ministerial VIPs in the U.K. and abroad. RaSP also provide protection to various foreign dignitaries visiting the UK. RaSP Residential provides armed protection to London palaces, Windsor Castle and various Scottish residences.
Job Role
Inputting data and managing the CARM and duties systems, including overtime administration and Report writing, as directed by Band D Carm manager. Also Resourcing of Close and Static Protection officers as required
Roles and responsibilities:
- Forward planning on CARM and Duties Grid, and the meeting of mandatory training requirements
- Management of duties and CARM
- Working as part of a team and complying with service regulations and Standard Operating Procedures
- Administering the duties data base
- Managing Duties shared inbox, SharePoint and BOX locations.
- Knowledge of Duties and/or CARM
- Knowledge of Police Regulations and MPS Policy, including Working Time Regulations
- Knowledge of Police Staff pay and conditions.
- General administration and ad hoc duties as directed by the RaSP CARM Manager - Overtime Administration and Roster administration and officer/staff transfer management.
- Resourcing of Static and Close Protection officers to Posts.
Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post.
