- S24-556 Stores Assistant (LC4)

Lancashire Constabulary’s Estates and Facilities Management Department is seeking a Stores Assistant to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. This post is temporary until 31st August 2025.

The purpose of this role is to:

Administer the stores department and participate in the annual stock audits. Maintaining a clear, secure and orderly store, appropriately referenced and operating within health and safety and security regulations.
Maintain computerised stock records and associated paperwork ensuring records are entered in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure that goods are received are as per the requisition, and that invoices and delivery notes are processed in accordance with the Constabulary procedures.
Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to delivering and achieving value for money and to promote and contribute to cost efficiencies in service delivery.
Undertake other duties and additional responsibilities which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading as and when required.
