About the Role

As a Recruitment Advisor with Wiltshire Police, you will manage and facilitate effective recruitment processes. You will work closely with hiring managers, understand their needs, and develop strategies to deliver successful hiring outcomes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for both applicants and stakeholders, promoting fairness and efficiency throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Own the recruitment process from strategy creation to on boarding, ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments, including Vetting, Occupational Health, L&D, IT, and Uniforms, to coordinate and streamline the on boarding process.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as time to offer, time to hire, and candidate management.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Utilise multiple channels to identify and attract top talent, including headhunting and advising on market trends.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance and support to meet their recruitment needs.
  • Labour Market Intelligence: Use data to inform decision-making and improve recruitment practices.
  • Talent Acquisition Best Practices: Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and promote our brand as an employer of choice.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to ATS governance and maintain high data accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in recruitment events, represent the organisation, and work on projects to enhance our recruitment function.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or relevant experience in HR/Recruitment.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment.
  • Development of effective recruitment strategies.
  • Working with KPI's in a recruitment context.
  • Sourcing candidates across various platforms.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyse trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge:

  • Awareness of equality and diversity issues.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection laws.
