Governance and External Relations Lead
The Scottish Police Authority is seeking a skilled and experienced professional in external relations, parliamentary liaison, and/or governance to join our corporate team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished manager to play a key role in strengthening trust and confidence in policing by supporting and promoting transparent, accountable, and proportionate oversight.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in:
- Leading and developing high performing teams
- Developing and delivering strategic organisational objectives
- Advising and influencing Boards, executive teams, and senior leaders
- Building strong, effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Strategic and clear communication to broad audiences
As Governance and External Relations Lead, you will work closely with the Authority’s leadership team and Board members, contributing to meaningful improvements in policing through effective governance and engagement.
This role is currently based at Pacific Quay, Glasgow however, location will be moved to Dalmarnock, Glasgow in the next coming months.
