A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Specialist Operations Planning Unit based at FHQ for a Force Hub Resources & Logistics Assistant. We are looking for someone to liaise with the Force Planners in order to adequately resource all events across Greater Manchester.

This includes football, any sporting event, concerts, protests, festivals and Force operations, such as Op Arvo.

Some of the main duties are:

• To resource other interdivisional incidents and operations for the Force.

• To engage in the supply of officers for mutual aid and to invoice other Forces for their services.

• To effectively communicate plans for events to various partners including divisional RMUs, departmental SPOCs, Catering, Transport, and the Force Duty Officer, feeding back any issues to the planner.

This role is based at Force Headquarters and although busy will be rewarding for the right applicant.
