Prevention and Diversion Manager
Join us as a leader in the prevention of violence for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in Leicestershire.
As the Prevention and Diversion Manager you will be leading on the design and implementation of key prevention and diversion strategies and initiatives and engaging with a wide range of new and existing partners.
This is an exciting permanent new role working full-time based at force Headquarters and travelling around the Leicestershire region.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be managing and co-ordinating Violence Reduction Network (VRN) prevention and diversion projects.
- Leading and supporting the development of resources to equip and empower a range of partners to engage and divert children and young people at risk of involvement in violence and associated harm.
- Providing strategic and operational leadership of the development and delivery of the VRN’s work.
The must haves
- Educated to Degree standard or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of current policy and practice relating to working with children and young people including in relation to prevention, diversion and/or safeguarding.
- Experience of building positive, trusting and productive relationships with a range of partners.
