Job Title: Administrative Officer
Salary: The starting salary is £34,808, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £31,880 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £34,108. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Who we are looking for:
The TRI (Technology, Research and Innovation) unit within the Metropolitan Police is currently expanding and is seeking an administrative officer to help provide administrative support to the day-to-day running of the unit.
The duties for the Admin Officer will be varied, so you will be an organised proactive individual who will enjoy being an integral part of the TRI unit, serving the Metropolitan Police and London communities.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining various spreadsheets for keeping TRI records.
- Raising and tracking building maintenance issues.
- Raising purchase orders on behalf of engineering staff and supporting the process.
- Taking minutes and recording actions at site health and safety, SMT, and other meetings. Disseminating actions and minutes accordingly.
- Helping with project documentation as necessary and at an appropriate vetting level.
- Support for recruitment processes.
- Providing admin support to the Head of TRI.
- Report to the TRI Administrative Manager.

Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post.
