ICT Stores Assistant
We are looking to appoint an ICT Stores Assistant to join our Service Delivery team. This role is vital to ensuring the delivery of quality ICT equipment and services that support North Yorkshire Police (NYP) and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services (NYFRS).Key responsibilities:
As an integral part of the team, you will:
Manage the procurement of ICT equipment and ensure compliance with policies.
Maintain accurate records for ordering, issuing, and receiving stock.
Organize, store, and prepare ICT materials for delivery across North Yorkshire.
Engage positively with internal and external stakeholders to meet service needs.
Ensure compliance with service standards, KPIs, and SLAs while contributing to ongoing improvements.
Support an inclusive team culture that aligns with the vision of "one ICT service."
Requirements:
To succeed, you will:
Have experience in an ICT service support function within a busy, multidisciplinary environment.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems, with a high level of attention to detail.
Be comfortable working in various conditions, including dirt, dust, and adverse weather.<,p> Hold a valid driving license.
