BCH Sergeants Promotions Process

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Strategic Alliance are seeking Expressions of Interest for promotion to Sergeant from substantive officers. To be eligible you will need to hold a Sergeant legal exam pass valid until at least the end of June 2025, or be awaiting the results from the 2024 Sergeants exam. The Bedfordshire process is open to both internal and external candidates.

To apply, you will need to complete an expression of interest outlining why you are ready for promotion now, this will need to be supported by your 1st line manager and your Chief Inspector
