- S24-544 Lancaster & Wyre Police Cadet Coordinator (LC5)
Applications are invited for the post of Lancaster & Wyre Police Cadet Coordinator within HQ ASB & POP Command Citizens in Policing Team based at Lancaster.
The purpose of this role is to provide consistency and quality in co-ordinating and delivering Volunteer Police Cadet Schemes for young people across Lancashire, some of whom will be vulnerable, by actively working with the local community, local policing teams and volunteers. You will be required to develop the cadet programme to improve the quality of life for young people, reduce vulnerability and make communities more resilient by supporting social action projects and initiatives. You will be working with partners, educational establishments and community organisations to build relationships, develop alliances and support young people into training, employment and lifelong volunteering. You will provide activities for young people aged between 13-18yrs in the community and educational establishments throughout Lancashire ensuring there is an equitable and inclusive approach. And you will manage adult volunteer Cadet leaders who will support you in the delivery of the scheme.
The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with the attached rota.
