Corporate Communications Officer

It is critical to ensure high levels of public confidence and that victims of crime receive the service that they are entitled to. To meet the challenges of today and tomorrow we are seeking highly motivated and resourceful communicators to join our in-house Corporate Communications Team. The Corporate Communications Officer roles are new within the team and we are looking for a range of communications skills to support our ambitions.

You will be a confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of implementing a communications strategy. Reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager you will support the development of public trust and confidence in North Yorkshire Police. This role requires the capability of working across a number of corporate communications disciplines to ensure that both the public and our employees are well-informed and engaged: internal; external; and digital. You will be joining an experienced team of professional communications who will support your development. When trained and capable you will join the Corporate Communications on-call rota which provides 24/7 support for the force in managing critical incidents.
