Nottinghamshire Police has recently invested in its Information Services team, its people and the structure.
We provide technologies and IT services that directly impact operational policing. From the equipment that frontline officers require to be able to make decisions on the street, big data and analytics, 999/101 Control Room services, technologies that support digital investigations and everything in between! Information Services is at the heart of it all!
Main Purpose of Role
To provide first line technical support and customer service to the users of IT at Nottinghamshire Police. You will be required to provide general advice and guidance on issues impacting the customers’ use of IT products and services, dealing with customer requests and solving straightforward problems with mobile devices, dealing with customer deliveries and collection.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Has experience of providing first line technical support to customers in a service desk environment.
General technical knowledge of using and supporting a number of technologies including, PC operating systems, Microsoft office suite, O365, specialist software packages including Active Directory. Has experience of supporting IT hardware including, Workstations, Laptops, mobile phones and printers.
Experience of promoting a positive and enabling culture that puts the customer at the heart of service delivery.
