Volunteer Crime Records Administrator - Headquarters

Do you have a methodical approach and attention to detail? If so, this could be the role for you.
Are you able to give one day a week (most regularly on a Wednesday) to volunteering?
This volunteering opportunity will support the organisation in our aim of reducing the paper records we currently have on-site thereby also reducing the risk of possible data breaches.
Main Responsibilities would include:
- Assisting with cataloguing records.
- Creating scanned versions of historical crime records.
- Updating/amending spreadsheets and summarising the historical crime records once scanning is complete.
- Once quality assurance has been undertaken by the supervisors, securely disposing of crime records in line with force policy.
- There will be some light lifting e.g. small file boxes and due to the age of some of the paper records there will be exposure to dust.
- The tasks will be undertaken by the volunteer alongside a member of the Records Management Team.

You must be 18 years of age to apply
All applicants will be subject to the Force Vetting Policy.
