West Yorkshire Police, as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit, are looking to recruit an Intelligence Analyst based in Wakefield.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established regional unit working alongside four police forces and partner agencies to tackle serious and organised crimes.
The role involves the analysis of crime, and Organised Crime Groups to identify threat, risk, and harm through the development of tactical and strategic products. Analysts are expected to present their analytical findings at regional meetings and work collaboratively with Senior Investigating Officers and external partners to achieve organisational objectives.
The ideal candidate/s will be able to operate computerised databases and have experience of analysing complex data accurately. They must be able to adapt to dynamic priorities and tasking.
They will also have excellent report writing skills, oral and written communication skills, and be able to pay close attention to detail.
