Lead the team delivering Police Driver training!

As our Chief Driving Instructor, you will be supporting and developing a team of police officers and support staff. Ensuring the police driver training is delivered and developed in line with the police driver standards for the force and college priorities.

You will take ownership for the procedure for managing driving authorities across the force, making sure that an appropriate, proportionate robust re-testing development regime is in place.

This role is offered as a part-time role 30 hrs week

What you’ll be doing 

  • Manage and develop the driver training team, allocating tasks and activities to trainers 
  • Ensure the delivery of the police driver training plan 
  • Maintain an effective and accurate audit of the delivery of all police driver training

The must haves

  • Be a qualified, competent and current police driving instructor
  • Need to be competent to the police sector standard for the training of trainers
  • Experience of managing a team

Salary £40,893 - £48,894 pro-rata
