Salary: £30,468 - £34,329

We have two exciting opportunities; one on a full-time, permanent basis and one fixed term until 31st March 2026 to join the Prevention Directorate as a Researcher where you will take on research and provide key information that will influence the effective use of operational resources and strategic planning.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the collection of intelligence for the force using appropriate research techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and assist analysts in preparing and presenting research.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion is maintained when undertaking research.

The must haves:

  • GCSE (Grade C/4 or above) in Maths and English Language, or equivalent work experience.
  • Data collection experience, or proven skills conducting research in an information-based environment.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills, including report writing.
