To be eligible to transfer to Cleveland Police you must be a substantive Sergeant wishing to transfer at rank from a Home Office Force or Police Service of Northern Ireland. We are not accepting applications on promotion at this time.

Due to current circumstances and demand within our training department, we are currently unable to accept transferees from Ministry of Defence, Civil Nuclear Constabulary & Police Scotland.

You will retain your:

- Previous service and current levels of pay (excluding force specific benefits i.e. London Weighting)

- Annual leave entitlement, as long as there is no break in service

- Your current pension arrangement

As a Police Officer you'll play a vital role in ensuring that the communities of Cleveland are kept safe. It isn’t easy but it is rewarding and can be a career like no other. This vacancy will be reviewed on a regular basis and we have transferee cohorts starting throughout the year. We expect to hold our first round of interviews in early September.
