To excel in this role, you'll be someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent teamworking skills, and strong technical and organisational abilities. This role requires an individual who would relish the involvement in all things technical and would enjoy working with a team of seasoned technical professionals within a close-knit unit.

You’ll be joining a team that’s responsible for maintaining and repairing photographic equipment used by the imaging unit and forensic departments. You will play a key role in the installation of electronic presentation equipment and supporting the relevant quality management systems to ensure organisational conformance with the standards required of the Forensic Regulator. Your remit will include ensuring the equipment is in top condition, and your day-to-day activities will involve overseeing the performance of ‘image capture’ tools used by the Unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing a maintenance regime for all electronic and mechanical items of equipment.

The Key Requirements...
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of professional imaging equipment.
• A qualification in electronic repair to component level e.g. HND in electronics servicing.
• Previous experience of working within an imaging environment; and
• a full current UK driving licence.
