Inspector Promotion | Familiarisation Event

Cleveland Police are embarking on a process to select officers wishing to become Inspectors. The Force will be seeking applications from suitably qualified substantive Sergeants seeking promotion to the next rank. We will also be welcoming applications from transferee substantive Sergeants on promotion and those on lateral transfer who already hold the substantive rank of Inspector with a Home Office force.

As part of the promotions process, we would encourage those interested eligible Officers to attend the Inspectors Promotion Familiarisation Event at CPHQ. The event will be introduced by members of the Executive Team and will go on to include a presentation from the HR Recruitment team which will offer more information on the process, as well as allow an opportunity for any questions to be asked.

The applications for the process will go live on the afternoon of Monday 20th May 2024.
