Lancashire Constabulary’s Safer Roads Unit is seeking a NDORS Practical Trainer to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. This post is temporary until 31/05/2024.

The purpose of this role is:

To deliver and monitor practical course delivery in respect to the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) and other driver safety schemes in Lancashire to meet organisational demand ensuring content complies with NDORS requirements where applicable.

To monitor delivery of NDORS courses by other trainers to ensure compliance with relevant standards, providing feedback to SRU Administrative Manager and updating associated records when necessary.

To maintain up to date knowledge of force and UKROEd policies in relation to diversionary courses and associated procedures; ensure compliance and provide advice and guidance on driver retraining courses.

To demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a high standard of service with an emphasis on quality at all times.

To have a flexible attitude towards work, this role requires working remotely across Lancashire with occasional office cover at HQ Hutton.
