Lancashire Constabulary’s Digital Forensics Team is seeking a Digital Forensics Examiner to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. One post is temporary until 28th February 2025, and the other post is temporary until 31st March 2025.
The role of a Digital Forensic Examiner is to undertake the forensic recovery of evidential data from digital devices, provide evidentially sound expert technical support in matters relating to the investigation of crime with a digital footprint. Provide evidence to the court and judiciary and provide support at crime scenes when necessary.
The role will also support other key areas in the Digital Forensic Unit, such as Kiosks and accreditation.
