Lancashire Constabulary’s ICT Senior Management Team is seeking a Head Of Information Development to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. 

The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain, and evolve how Lancashire Constabulary manages its data using data warehouses, data architecture and reporting service, primarily focused on big data and business intelligence capability, ensuring data from numerous sources can be linked and presented. You will also have to ensure that data is effectively, lawfully, and reliably stored and shared to achieve our mission.

As our reliance on technology increases the data it surfaces becomes more fundamental, both as an audit of how we perform but also helping to shape the decisions we make.  Through our continual investment in digital services we are continuing to provision and maintain safe and secure platforms across the organisation aligning with strategic and architectural principles, the data from these systems when surfaced correctly will assist in Chief Officer decision making and the longer term strategic direction for the organisation.
