Starts at £31,755 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £36,996 per annum
Salary Information  

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

Job Advert Description  

The post holder will need to show abilities and skills in decision making, personal responsibility, integrity, self-motivation and working under minimal supervision in the areas listed below: 

To develop this role so that it constantly improves the forces response to the local delivery of the Protect strand of the national Cyber Crime Control Strategy, reducing the varied types of Cyber-crime suffered by local communities.

To write and constantly develop the associated policies and guidance, in relation to the protection of local communities and businesses from becoming victims of cyber-crime within the counties. To ensure that Dorset, Devon and Cornwall communities receive the most appropriate and current advice around protection against cyber-crime.

To ensure that victims of such criminality are not subject to repeat victimisation and victim numbers are reduced. To ensure timely and effective liaison, engagement and collaboration with volunteers, other organisations and agencies in tackling cyber-crime through the cyber-crime protect message. To act as a Tactical Advisor for the protection against Cyber-crime and the associated public engagement.
