Salary: £23,121 - £24,921 (pro rata)

Hours: 22.2

Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for an Occupational Health Admin Assistant to join our Occupational Health Team working on a part time basis between 9.00 am and 2.30 pm. Days and hours to be discussed at interview.  As an Occupational Health Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Occupational Health Team in providing the force with clinical guidance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling appointments, reception duties, compiling files and scanning
  • Maintaining records on the occupational health management system
  • Monitoring daily workflow
  • Diary management of the occupational health advisory teams
  • Supporting the clinical teams with day-to-day delivery of the service

Skills and experience:

  • Passion for excellence and high standards of client care
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal
  • Ability to organise themselves and work streams to a high standard
  • Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to use own initiative and make decisions
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience of delivery in a customer service environment
  • Experience of use of electronic systems, email, word, excel, internet etc
  • Experience of undertaking administration duties to a high standard
  • Understanding of client confidentiality and GDPR
  • Previous experience working in an OH/medical setting would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of eopas would be advantageous

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
