Data Analyst
We are currently inviting applications for the role of Data Analyst positioned within our Criminal Justice Department.In this role, you will take advantage of data driven analytical techniques, to assist the delivery of a wide range of disciplines based within the Criminal Justice Business Area. This will help drive criminal justice and police related priorities, to support the development of excellent organisational performance and improve services to the public.
Our work is constantly evolving to meet the needs of a changing environment, as we seek innovative approaches to improving service delivery for our customers. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, to help interpret a wide range of data and identify areas for focus, articulating findings into department oversight reports and presentations.
Main responsibilities will include:
Providing analytical and research support to Criminal Justice Senior Management Team in accordance with Force Strategy, policies and procedures, performance management and measurement.
Overseeing data quality and integrity ensuring data is fit for purpose, can be acquired, cleansed, and utilised to support operational policing purposes.
Designing and building management information that enables organisational oversight through self-service or bespoke reports.
To work with other stakeholders to establish a robust and reliable evidence base for data analytics and business development work that relies on such information.
