Salary £32,736 pa rising to £34,332 pa after qualifying period

Are you a dynamic and engaging professional with experience in Leadership and Management, who is passionate about the development of others? Can you actively engage with candidates to review progress, assess, and feedback on their work and plan assessment activities? If so, come and join Wiltshire Police as a Leadership assessor, carrying out workplace assessments with Sergeants and Inspectors undergoing accredited police (supervisory and management) qualifications. With your previous experience in assessing management qualifications and your high professional standards, you will join a thriving department recognised as a pivotal part of our Force

Main duties will include:

Conduct work placed assessments related to the accredited Sergeant and Inspector qualifications
Train, mentor and contribute to the development and assessment of staff undertaking CAVA and TAQA certification.
Undertake internal Quality Assurance for NOS and QCF standards
Advise and support staff involved in assessment regarding the functions and principles of assessment

The successful applicant will have:

Previous experience in assessment of management qualifications
A comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in the field of assessment
Knowledge of the NVQ Codes of Conduct and QCF requirements
