ARV OFFICER – Transferee

Opportunities are now open for officers to directly transfer into Durham Constabulary as an ARV officer working on the Roads Policing department. Transferees will be expected to conducted both Firearms and Roads Policing Duties.

You will need to be currently:

•Accredited to national standards for the relevant ARV role, with proven level of competence in training and operational deployment.

•Attain the minimum national fitness levels – ARV

•Medically fit for role profile

•Serving in a recognised Home Office Forcev •Further evidence to demonstrate performance, attendance; ethical standards and professionalism will be required.

•Show commitment and enthusiasm to serve the community within County Durham and Darlington.

•Successfully completed probationary period.

•Display full competence against the Competency and Values Framework for the rank of constable

•Additional skills such as Tactical Advisor; OFC, SFO, CBRN, Rifle and Advanced Driving are desirable.
