Transferee Police Officers

Northumbria Police is currently accepting applications for the police officer transferees and Re-joiners recruitment programme from individuals with specific, specialised skill sets. We would love to hear from you if you are a Police Officer looking for a new challenge, and come from any of the following backgrounds:

Detective Qualified (PIP2)

Substantive Sergeant Rank

Any other specialist skills

Neighbourhood Policing background or willingness to work in this area#

Constable Collision Investigator

Officers must be serving or previous serving (in the last 5 years) and have completed their probationary period. You must be or have been serving with a Home Office Force, or Police Scotland/PSNI. Unfortunately, at this current time officers from the British Transport Police, Ministry of Defence Police, Civil Nuclear Constabulary are unable to apply. We are also unable to accept applications from those at Inspector rank.
