Public Protection Administrator MOSOVO

Derbyshire Constabulary are looking to appoint two full-time permanent Public Protection Administrators within the Crime Support Unit, to be based at Chesterfield Police Station.
The MOSOVO Unit manages and monitors the most dangerous violent and sexual offenders by way of the statutory Multi-agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) alongside the Prison and Probation Services.
What you’ll be doing
- Responsibilities will be varied, including a full range of administration support, inputting and maintaining records and gathering information. The nature of the work is highly sensitive.
- Research material from a variety of sources, assess the information and compile reports making recommendations.
- With your excellent communication skills you will work and liaise with patterner agencies and process incoming telephone calls.
The must haves
- Be educated to GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English Language or hold equivalent qualification or have work experience to this level. Please provide details of the qualifications you have to meet this criteria or provide of your experience of writing accurate reports and written correspondence.
- Previous experience of working within an administrative and office environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office products and excellent keyboard skills are essential to this role.
- Experience of input and retrieval of data from computer systems.

Salary - £23,748 - £28,653
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
