East Midlands Special Operations Unit’s Corporate Services team have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Support Administrator on a permanent, full-time basis, working at our offices in Nottinghamshire, in the vicinity of junction 27 of the M1.

The East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) is an exciting place to work, where no two days are the same.   As one of the largest collaborative units of its kind in the country, EMSOU delivers specialist capabilities on behalf of the five police forces in the East Midlands. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Using excellent communication skills to provide high quality customer service at EMSOU HQ reception, meeting and speaking with colleagues from across the force areas and ensuring all visitors are dealt with promptly, efficiently and in a polite and professional manner.
  • Dealing with enquiries and requests for information, providing appropriate advice to both internal departments and colleagues and external agencies.
  • Supporting EMSOU by undertaking minor research and projects as required.
  • Providing an efficient and effective administrative support in a confidential environment, using a variety of software packages, and maintaining records.

The must haves

  • To have experience in an administrative or customer service-related environment
  • Experienced in using effective communication skills both in written and verbal form.
  • A team player who openly supports the team’s goals whilst also working effectively on your own initiative.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Salary: Grade 3 (£23,121 - £24,462)

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.

Due to MV/SC vetting requirements, you must have a minimum of 5 years continuous UK residency to be eligible to apply.
