Job Title: Head of Performance and Assurance

Salary: The starting salary is £80,260, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.

The salary is broken down as £77,332 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £89,320 Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Location: NSY and Holborn with travel across MPS required

 

The vision of the Metropolitan Police Service (Met) is to make London safe for everyone. We are radically changing to deliver high-quality policing services in a more efficient and cost-effective way, in line with the Mayor of London’s Police and Crime Plan and the New Met for London Strategy.

This role provides leadership to their team, reporting directly to the Service Delivery Director, and is part of the extended MBOSS SLT. The purpose of the role is to provide assurance on the successful delivery all projects, continuous improvement initiatives and related communications for MBOSS. The role is also the owner of the OCU Comms Strategy. This includes building and maintaining excellent working relationships across the OCU, the wider MPS and our suppliers, it involves management of an internal team and temporary project managers. The role holder defines the Change Portfolio for the OCU in conjunction with the SLT and may sometimes be required to manage both small and large projects within the Portfolio, to ensure that our services are continuously improving to meet the evolving needs of frontline policing.
