Forensic Biometric Officer

The East Midlands Specialist Operations Unit (EMSOU) is seeking to recruit into the role of Forensic Biometric Officer to provide services to enable the processing and reporting capability across the East Midlands region ensuring a comprehensive, efficient and effective service is delivered.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce National Streamlined Forensic Reports including visual aids as appropriate.
  • Analyse and report data ensuring timely processing and outcomes. 
  • Report information to key stakeholders and provide operational officers with advice and guidance.

The must haves:

  • A Level English Language, or equivalent or have work experience to this level. 
  • A Level Mathematics, or equivalent or have work experience to this level.
  • Experience working in a high pressure environment meeting deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.

Please be aware that due to the security checks required for this role you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK.

Salary: £25,626 - £31,296

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
