PS/585/B - SO1 - Intelligence Analyst - (SSID) Strategic Services Improvement Department - Tactical Intelligence
We are recruiting Intelligence Analysts (fixed term contract until 31 Mar 23) to work within the Strategic Service Improvement Department for Bedfordshire Police. The role is predominately home working, remotely working alongside a team of Intelligence Researchers and Analysts to deliver intelligence products to support a wide range of police operations including the targeting of organised crime gangs and public protection / crime reduction initiatives.
Applicants must have a proven record, or experience of using analytical skills and the ability to understand intelligence that affects or may influence the objectives and strategic direction of the force. They should be confident in preparing and delivering briefings at meetings to a wide range of stakeholders. Candidates should have an excellent knowledge of computer software working with customised data bases and computer packages, including Excel.
Reporting to one of the Senior Intelligence Analysts, the post is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
