System AdministratorCleveland Police are seeking to recruit experienced system administrators to be part of the newly created Digital Services Division. With direction from the System Owners for business and operations, you will be able to help shape the current and future direction of the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning system (including the Duty Management System and other related systems) and new digital evidence management platforms.
Technology plays a huge part in any large business in the modern era and the Police Service is no different. Cleveland Police use some of the most highly regarded commercial applications to support delivery and this role is crucial in ensuring the best benefits are achieved. The post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive service to end users, including technical support, maintenance of user accounts and workflows, and implementing improvements. A focus on innovation, accuracy and detail is essential as you will be responsible for configuration upgrades and developing digital systems to meet the needs of Operational Policing.
You will be right for this role if you excel in the areas of ICT installation and configuration, with an ability to monitor the performance of ICT systems. You will have a proven track record of championing and influencing change, managing stakeholder interest in relation to IT system requirements. The successful candidate will also have experience of assimilating large quantities of data, providing management information / statistics, data migration and managing data legacy systems.
This role will give the post holder the opportunity to make some clear differences and improvement to the way in which systems are used within the Force, ultimately enabling better operational delivery.
