Applications are invited for the post of Safeguarding Administrator based within the Protecting Vulnerable People Team. If you have an interest in Safeguarding and want to be part of a team who protect those who are most vulnerable in our communities this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

As a Safeguarding Administrator you will provide an effective administrative and business support service to the wider team. You will be involved in gathering, collating and processing information, liaising with and notifying partner agencies, as well as identifying safeguarding issues and escalating as appropriate.

Attention to detail, with an ability to update databases accurately is an essential requirement for the role. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate this, as well as being methodical and logical in their approach to work. You will be required to work to deadlines, and priorities within the office can change so you will need to be able to work on initiative and plan your own work accordingly around this. Previous experience of working with Partner Agencies is also sought.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to read reports, statements, and view / update systems that may contain contents of an offensive and distressing nature. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a psychological assessment as part of the pre employment checks.
