Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
The purpose of the role is to provide strategic leadership and direction for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across all aspects of the organisation’s business.
Provide strategic leadership and direction for EDI including the development of equality objectives and activity to meet the requirements of the Equality Duty.
Provide direction and oversight for the understanding, development, integration and delivery of EDI across all aspects of Force business.
Support the Deputy Chief Constable to provide oversight and ensure delivery of the Force’s EDI strategies and plans.
Lead, manage and develop the Corporate Equality Unit and act as Head of Profession on EDI issues and for specific roles which have a primary focus on the delivery of EDI.
Provide advice and support to the Executive and senior leaders on the development of an inclusive workforce which reflects the communities it serves
