West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a number of Intelligence Analysts in both full time and part time roles at various locations within West Yorkshire including as below:
Bradford - 3 x full time 37 hr posts
Wakefield - 1 x full time 37 hr posts
Huddersfield - 1 x job share 18.5 hr job share post
Leeds - 1 x full time 37 hr post
In this role you will provide an efficient analytical service to meet the needs of the organisation, identifying and using the most appropriate analytical products and techniques, enabling management to make informed operational decisions.
Eligible candidates will be educated to Degree level or relevant analytical experience.
Furthermore, you will need excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as experience of analysing complex data accurately and a good working knowledge of computerised databases.
This role would suit someone with a thorough understanding of the interpretation and graphical representation of data.
In addition, you must be prepared to work flexibly to suit business needs, travel for business purposes, and work anywhere in the Force area if required.
The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.

The full time posts are suitable for job share. The application process will close at 23:55 hours on 27th February 2020 at 23:55.
As this is a career progression scheme post, candidates who possess the requisite experience and knowledge of the Entry Level Scale 5 (£23,235 - £25,380) or the Advanced Level Scale 6 (£26,208 - £28,023) may be considered eligible to start further along the progression scheme.

Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused on the grounds that it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
