Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are currently seeking a Review Retention and Disposal Researcher based at Hindlip, Worcestershire.
The Alliance is committed to adopting the requirements of APP Management of Police Information (MoPI). One of the requirements is to ensure the information contained in nominals records is reviewed and either retained or disposed of in line with the MoPI Retention Schedule.
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future with regards to RRD (Review, Retention and Disposal). The post holder will be expected to develop efficient and effective policies, procedures and working practises that are MoPI compliant to ensure the alliance does not retain records that are no longer required for a policing purpose.
A background in records management, retention scheduling, investigation work and knowledge of CRIMES/Genie and Athena would be an advantage as the post holder will be expected to develop their knowledge of RRD and MoPI groups. The post holder will also be involved in the development of RRD for Athena.
