Volunteer Independent Advisory Group Member - HC7865

We are currently recruiting for an IAG volunteer to work from Southampton Central Police Station. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to query, advise and comment to the police and partners.

Job Purpose

The key Accountabilities are:

1. To consider and advice on issues affecting the whole organisation including policy and procedure, critical incidents and operational practice and planning.

2. To advice on a variety of police issues including;

(i) Stop and Search.

(ii) Critical incidents.

(iii) Crime which has an unequal impact on the diverse community e.g. Hate Crime.

(iv) Anti-Social behaviour.

3. To give regular and effective service.
