Detective Constable Transferees
This is an exciting time for Staffordshire Police. With an ambitious programme underway to transform the way we work, we are now looking for Detective Constables to complement our existing team and drive this work forward.
Investigative Services is divided into Major and Organised Crime, Force CID, Forensics and Specialist Investigations which encompasses Child Exploitation Team & Adult Safeguarding Enquiry Team, Fraud & Cyber Crime and Special Branch.
The departments, which make up Investigations, are collectively responsible for protecting Staffordshire from harm, particularly those communities and individuals who are most vulnerable. They work closely with local policing and response team colleagues as well as with partners to tackle serious, complex and high harm based criminality. Investigation units strive to deliver the best quality of investigations to our victims with a particular focus on force priorities.
There are a number of Detective Constable Vacancies projected across CPET and FCID departments within Investigative Services. We are therefore seeking applications for those members of staff who are considering a future working within investigation.
Applicants must demonstrate that they fit within the criteria below:
- Be a current detective with PIP level 2 accredited, or
- Be a serving officer with PIP level 2 accreditation although not currently occupying a detective role, or
- Be a serving officer who has successfully passed the National Investigators Examination (NIE).
Applications are welcome from all sections of the community and in particular from people in under-represented groups.
If you think that you meet the requirements for these posts, please contact Helen Brunjes for an application pack - email@example.com.
You will need to return your completed application by 12pm on Friday 25 January 2019.
