Local Policing Support Volunteer (Rural Affairs)

This volunteering opportunity will support the Cornwall rural affairs officer with engagement and crime prevention activities to tackle rural issues, encouraging sign up to various Watch schemes, gathering information through a social media presence and updating force systems with this information. As such, an understanding and knowledge of using social media along with updating website content would be advantageous but not essential.

There will also be an opportunity with this role to attend events with local organisations and within the community to help promote preventative measures to reduce the impact of rural crime within our community.

A full clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for this role. Mileage expenses will be paid at 45p per mile.
