Service Desk Analyst

The IT Service Desk Analyst will act as the first point of contact for both Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary. The role is to provide telephone and email support, advice, troubleshooting and guidance to end users reporting IT issues. The main objective of the IT Service Desk is to enable the front line and supporting staff to use technology in their role. It is therefore essential that first time fix remains high, and where appropriate engaging with other IT technical support functions to deliver the IT Service Level Agreements to the forces. Attention to detail is required in order to provide as much information as possible to the IT technical support teams. 

 

Due to the nature of our user base it is essential that the candidate has experience of working in an ICT Service Desk and is able to work well under pressure along with being very customer focused. The IT Service Desk environment is built on working as a team so the successful candidate would need to work well in a team remaining professional at all times.
