West Yorkshire Police is looking to appoint a Counter Terrorism Digital Forensic Investigator.
We have an exciting opportunity working within the Counter Terrorism Policing Digital Investigations Team. We want someone who enjoys working as part of team, but also has the self-motivation to work independently. You will conduct digital forensic investigations of all digital devices to obtain evidence and intelligence in support of regional, national, and international Counter Terrorism Policing.
The role is generally suited to someone who has previous experience of working within Digital Forensics and/or have a strong background within the Computing Industry.

• Do you possess a detailed knowledge and expertise of common operating systems, file systems and applications?
• Do you have a degree in Computing /Digital Forensics, or equivalent qualifications/ experience within digital forensics, or a strong background in the Computing Industry?
• Do you have a proven aptitude for problem solving in a methodical and logical manner?
• Do you have an ability to work under pressure, make critical decisions and operate to tight schedules and deadlines?
• Are you willing and able to travel for business purposes, regionally, nationally & internationally, possibly for extended periods?
• Are you willing and able to work unsociable hours, provide 24 hour cover if necessary and have the ability to change hours at short notice?
